Introduction
In this course, you will learn to skillfully manipulate light and master the art of producing beautiful portraits. We will start from the basics so it is suitable for those who are looking to advance their photography knowledge. Ideally you should already understand the exposure process, the relationship between shutter speed, aperture and ISO. See how adding a professional strobe light make a difference to your photos.
As this is a very hands on course,we are limiting to only 5 students per class.
Lesson 1 (2-5pm)
- Equipment familiarization
- Strobes
- Light stands
- Light modifiers – Umbrella, Softbox , Reflectors
- Exposure for Studio Photography
- Controlling of exposure
- use of lightmeter
- One light setup – Hands on practise
Lesson 2 (2-5pm)
- 2 or more lights setup to create 3 dimensional lighting
- main light and fill light
- Calm lighting
- Use of color gels to change background color
